Hugogen Clipping vs Vizard
Vizard sells more clipping minutes than anything else in this category, and exports 4K. If monthly volume is what you are buying, buy theirs. This page is about what happens to a clip after it exists.
Pricing and feature data last verified 2026-10-07.
Pick Hugogen Clipping if
- A clip is a draft. You will re-cut it, restyle the captions and change its shape, and none of that should cost another pass.
- Nothing you export should carry someone else's mark, including on the plan you have not paid for.
- Clipping is one of several things you do, and one allowance across video, design, documents and chat suits you better than a clipping subscription.
Stick with Vizard if
- You clip many hours every month and the minute allowance is the number that decides it.
- You deliver at 4K.
- You want to schedule the clips straight out to a stack of connected social accounts.

Both Vizard paid tiers were showing a 50% promotion when these figures were read, bringing Creator to $14.50 and Business to $19.50. The prices above are the standing list rate rather than the promotional one. Hugogen meters clipping at 45 credits per minute of source video, charged on the video you put in rather than on how many clips come out, and editing the clips afterwards is free. The same credit pool also pays for video generation, design and chat, so the minutes above are a ceiling rather than a budget. Credits are allocated per seat and pooled across the workspace, and the usage view inside the app shows what every action costs before you spend on it.
Where Vizard is stronger today
Vizard is the volume answer in this category, and publishes a clear comparison table of its own. These are the places it wins.
Clipping volume
From 600 minutes a month on a $29 plan, against roughly 111 on ours, and 60 free minutes a month against about 11 granted once. If you clip many hours a month, this is not close and the rest of the page does not change that.
4K export
Their paid tiers export at 4K. Hugogen exports 720p on Free and 1080p from Pro, which covers social delivery and does not cover a 4K master.
Longer source videos
Up to 600 minutes and 30 GB per upload on paid, against 60 minutes and 2 GB here. A full-day recording goes to them.
Publishing and scheduling
Scheduling straight out to six connected social accounts on Creator and twenty on Business. There is no publishing surface here at all; you export and post.
Storage
100 GB on Creator and unlimited on Business. Hugogen's storage is sized for projects in flight rather than as an archive.
This list is the one the team works from. Hugogen ships changes every week, so if something above is your deciding factor, check the changelog before you choose.
